|Vectrex Multifunction Adapter|
|Created by||Dan Siewers|
The Vectrex Multifunction Adapter has the ability to perform several functions, as it provides a pseudo SPI interface that interfaces to a PlayStation 2 keyboard and mouse. This results in being able to send characters out to a tv monitor and the ability to send and receive bytes via a USB connection to and from a PC or Macintosh computer. It can also interface to a PS 2 keyboard and mouse and has an expansion port for future add-on peripherals.
A PC runs Hyperterminal, as it is required with the Vectrex sending out (as well as receiving) incremental bytes typed into Hyperterminal. This results in the Vectrex sending out tv characters typed on a local keyboard as well as from the PC via a USB connection.
